From Bay View Gardens catalog,1969: CROWNING GLORY., 34 inches, M. Whole Cloth impressed us as a truly unique achievement, and we set out to combine it with our Frosted Starlight line. CROWNING GLORY represents the convergence and culmination of both of these lines; thus the significance of the name. A large flower with white standards with a light blue midrib which deepens at the base of .the standard. The falls are a nearly true light blue, lightly textured for interest. The falls flare nearly horizontally with intense bubble-ruffling. The beard is also bluish. Its trueness and uniqueness of color makes this a distinctive masterpiece. Heavy demand forces us to limit one to a customer. No.63-182L: (Frosted Starlight x Whole Cloth) X ((New Snow x Lady Ilse) x Frosted Starlight) x Frosted Starlight). HC '67. $25.00
