'Crown Royal' (Hazel Schmelzer, R. 1970). Seedling# 68-97E6. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Royal purple (HCC 834) with luminous black overlay; dark bronze beard. 'Lion Of Judah' X (('Ruby Lace' x 'Ecstatic Night') x ('Lion Of Judah' seedling# 30 x 'Lion Of Judah')). Schmelzer 1971.
