From AIS Bulletin #213 April 1974 Introducing COUNTRY SUNSHINE (Sellman). TB, 38", Midseason. (Denver Mint X Kingdom). This happy child of two fine parents is a bright aureolin yellow self with orange beard, closed standards, flaring falls, heavily ruffled on all petals, with three branches and terminal. But statistics do not give any idea of the impact this iris carries in the garden. Its huge, handsome blossoms beckon visitors from all over our iris acre, and are greatly admired. Seedling C-22.
