1973, Goodrick

'Country Boy' (Howard Goodrick, R. 1972). Seedling# 84-3. TB, 30" (76 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards golden brown with rose overlay, gold edging; falls golden brown, gold at haft and gold edging; blue blaze below yellow-orange beard. ('Lockwood' x 'Inca Chief') X 'Flaming Heart'. Country Village 1973.

From AIS Bulletin #209 April 1973 Introducing COUNTRY Boy (H. Goodrick). Standards golden brown with rose overlay, falls golden brown, gold at haft, with blue blaze below yellow-orange beard. Both standards and falls have gold serrated edging. Flowers are well formed. 7-9 blooms per stalk. M-L. 30". Sdlg. 84-3. (Lockwood x Inca Chief) X Flaming Heart. $25.00. Country Village Garden.
