1972, Hamblen

'Cosmopolitan' (Melba Hamblen, R. 1971). Seedling H67-37A. TB, 36" (91 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Standards greyed yellow (RHS 162B); falls violet-blue (92B) bordered color of Standards; deep yellow beard. (('Lilac Champagne' x ('Fashion Show' x 'Melodrama')) x ('Promising' x sib)) X 'Commentary'. Mission Bell 1972. Honorable Mention 1973; Award of Merit 1976.
