From AIS Bulletin #301 April 1996 Introducing CONSPIRACY (Messick '96) TB, 36", M88-114 {{Hilow (Dunn) X (Ghio seedling x Samurai Warrior)). Ruffled bright red-brown with cerise overtones and faint violet shading. In other words, a blend of brilliant colors, but predominantly maroon-red. The haft is very clean and smooth with red-brown beards. Perhaps I conspired to develop this red iris with progeny of two talented friends. As a result, I happily found this in my seedling patch. Conspiracy fulfilled!! This unique blend has good substance, flower is broad, well-formed, fragrant and ruffled too. $35.00. Messick Garden.
