'Concord River' (Stedman Buttrick, R. 1955). TB, 34" (86 cm), Early midseason bloom. Color Class-B1L, Light-blue self. (('Helen McGregor' x 'St. Regis') x 'Cloud Castle') X ('Seafarer' x 'Great Lakes'). Fairmount 1956. Honorable Mention 1956; Judges' Choice 1957.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: CONCORD RIVER (Buttrick '56) M. 38 in. ((H. McGregor x St. Regis) x (C. Castle) x (Seafarer x G. Lakes). A choice pale blue with a white beard. The flowers are large, extra broad petaled and very heavily ruffled and thickly substanced. Very fine. H.M. 1956. 5.00.
