From R. Wallace Co. catalog, 1922: COMO (Farrer). A collected form brought home from Lake Como by that wonderful writer and traveller, the late Mr. Reginald Farrer. A fine Pallida form of exceptional size aud vigour. The flowers are mauve, slightly shaded pink. 3ft. C V. 3/6 each.
