From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2014: COMMANDING PRESENCE (Black ‘14) TB Early-Midseason 31” (79cm). Emphasis here is on clump effect as well as classic flower form. Light lavender blue standard’s color is repeated in a band around mid-dark lavender blue blended falls. Pleasing mid orange beards add a bright touch to ‘Commanding Presence’. Its shorter stature is excellent for areas plagued by strong winds. Show stalks have 3 branches and 9-11 buds. Sdlg.
