From Maple Valley Iris Garden catalog, 1937: CLARIBEL (J. Sass 1936) M. 40 in. At last a perfectly hardy plicata as large and fine as Los Angeles is at its best, which we seldom see in Iowa. The flowers are beautifully formed and delicately marked with clear blue; they are large and well placed on tall, widely branched stems. The plant is vigorous, free blooming and a fast increaser. H. M.1936. $10.00.
