1993, Hamner

'Cinnamon Sun' (Bernard Hamner by Shepard Iris Garden, R. 1993). Seedling# 84-44. TB, 38" (97 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards lemon yellow; falls dark apricot center, paling to light apricot with dark purple center stripe and purple veining; beards orange. (Hamner seedling# 75-11 x ''Peach Sundae') X amoena seedlings. Hamner Iris, Shepard Iris 1993.

From AIS Bulletin #289 April 1993 Introducing CINNAMON SUN (93 Hamner) TB-38"-M. Fluted lemon yellow stands. Falls are dark apricot in the center working to light apricot on the sides. A purple stripe accents the center of the falls with purple veining towards the outer edges. Orange beards finish off this strange beauty. ((Hamner 75-11 x Peach Sundae) X Various amoena sdlgs.) $35.00. Shepard Iris Garden.
