1988/89, Blyth

'Chinese Empress' (Barry Blyth, R. 1988). Seedling# T110-B. TB, 36" (91 cm), Very early bloom. Standards icy blue; Falls red violet-black, plush finish; bronze beard. 'Touch Of Bronze' X 'Beachgirl'. Tempo Two 1988/89.

From Tempo Two catalog, 1988: CHINESE EMPRESS (Blyth 88 Aust) VE-M 36" Reblooms. Sdlg No T110-B. Startling in its contrast is this neglecta. Standards are icy blue; falls are red violet-black with a plush finish. Beards are striking bronze. Form is wide with some ruffle. (Touch of Bronze X Beach Girl). $20.00.
