1985, Luihn

'Chico Maid' (Walter Luihn, R. 1985). Seedling# 79-23. TB, 38" (97 cm). Midseason to late bloom. Standards pale blue (M&P 41-A-2) shading slightly deeper (41-AB-8) at base; falls pale blue (41-A-3 to 41-A-5); blue beard tipped bronze in throat; waved and lightly ruffled; slight sweet fragrance. Seedling# 77-2: ('Contempo' x 'Five Star Admiral') X 'Song Of Norway'. Keppel 1985. 1st Runner-up for the 1986 President's Cup; Favorite Guest Iris 1986; Honorable Mention 1987; Walther Cup 1987; Award of Merit 1989.
