'Charger' (Harold Stahly, R. 1983). Seedling# 78-7. TB, 29" (74 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards deep red; falls slightly deeper; deep red beard; ruffled. 'Royal Trumpeter' X seedling# 73-105: (('Edenite' x 'Wine And Roses') x 'Credo'). Stahly 1985. Honorable Mention 1988.

This is a sun resistant, semi-flared flower that blooms over a long time period and has excellent ruffling for a red. Fertile. Sdlg. #78-7: Royal Trumpeter X {(Edenite x Wine & Roses) x Credo).
