1972, Haney

'Champagne Magic' (Susan Haney, R. 1971). Seedling# 69-H-1A. TB, 32" (81 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards white, washed rosy champagne, inside white with rosy markings; falls white, edged rosy champagne, hafts and area around beard heavily marked nearly cinnamon violet in places; reverse yellow, light yellow beard, light violet at tip; ruffled. 'Grand Spectator' X 'Memphis Lass'. Sierra Vista 1972. Honorable Mention 1973.

From AIS Bulletin #205 April 1972 Introducing CHAMPAGNE MAGIC (Haney). 32". Mid-season. A lovely and unique rosy champagne-on-white plicata, derived from her famous Grand Spectator by Memphis Lass. Hafts more heavily marked-all petals beautifully ruffled. Three branches and terminal. EC as Best Seedling of Las Vegas show, 1971. $25.00 each. Sierry Vista Iris Garden.
