'Castle Rock' (J. Lincoln, for originator, Dr. P. A. Loomis, R. 1952). TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Color Class-W2M, Plicata, white and medium blue. Plicata seedling X 'Blue Shimmer'. Lincoln 1952.

From Iris Test Garden Catalog, 1955: CASTLE ROCK. (Loomis '52). Midseason bloom. (Blue Shimmer x seedling). Large, impressive blue and white plicata with the blue blaze through center of falls. $7.50.
From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1956: CASTLE ROCK (Loomis 1952) M. 38 in. (Blue Shimmer x Sdlg.). A large and beautifully formed flower of snowy white with a lovely edging of rich blue and a blue blaze through the center of the falls. H. M. 1954. 4.50.
