CASTALIA is an iris which has been overlooked by many, but it can be depended upon to increase and bloom every year without a great deal of attention, and it has fine color. [Wills, Jesse, (1943). Older Iris I would Buy Again, American Iris Society Bulletin, 89(April 1943), 13.]
