From Quality Gardens catalog 1931: CAPTAIN COURAGEOUS (Rowell 1931) M. 44" F. Strong and sturdy, this beautiful blended self of deep rose and buff has a firm rounded shape and heavy substance. The strong, well branched stems stood 44" high in a dry short stemmed year. A lusty grower and one of its best features is the luxuriant foliage which keeps in good condition throughout the season. In mass, the glowing color makes a gorgeous and arresting garden picture. $10.00.
