1991, Byers

'Cape Horn' (Monty Byers, R/ 1989). Seedling# D161-4. TB, 36" (91 cm), midseason bloom. Heavily ruffled very pale powder blue; deep blue beard, blue horns; pronounced sweet fragrance. 'Song Of Norway' X seedling# B-8-2: ('Cease-Fire' x 'Sky Hooks'). Moonshine Gardens 1991. Exhibition Certificate 1986. Prize winner of Moscow International TB Iris Competition 1999 (second place).

From AIS Bulletin #281 April 1991 Introducing CAPE HORN-TB. SONG OF NORWAY X (CEASE-FIRE x SKY HOOKS). Very pale powder blue with showy blue b. and blue horns (sometimes spoons or flounces). A more up-to-date, much more ruffled "Song of Norway"-spaceager! What stalks! $35.00. Moonshine Gardens.
