'Canyon Rose' (Nate Rudolph, R. 1980). Seedling# 77-10. TB, 29" (74 cm), Early bloom. Standards rose with brownish flush; falls rose with light tan blaze; pink beard; heavily ruffled. Seedling# 75-06: ('Pink Angel' x 'Orange Fire') X seedling# 75-01: ('Pink Angel' x 'Orange Fire'). Klehm Nursery 1982. High Commendation 1979, High Commendation 1980 (Sdlg. 70-10).

From AIS Bulletin #244 January 1982 Introducing CANYON ROSE- Sdlg. 77-10: (Pink Angel x Orange Fire) X (Pink Angel x Orange Fire). TB, 35", E. Overall color is a blend of rose, brown and tan. Ruffled, upright standards are rose with a brownish flush. Heavily ruffled, wide, flaring falls are a rosy tan with a lighter blaze. Pink beards. Four branches with six buds. Plant habits are excellent. Fertile both ways. HC 1979. $25.00. Klehm Nursery.
