'Caméléon' (Jean-Nicolas Lémon, 1840) TB. Midseason bloom. Color Class B3M.

Lémon, Annales de Flore et de Pomone, 1839-1840, p. 369.
From Wing Seed catalog, 1918: CAMELEON — (Neglecta) S. mingled slate and blue; F. mingled purple and blue; at the base they are snow-white widely veined with brown, below this are some lovely velvety purple veins which blend gradually into the ground color; beard bright orange. The divisions are all very long, ruffled, of good texture. 25¢.
