From Carl Salbach catalog 1943: BRONZED COPPER (Kleinsorge-Salbach 1943). A brilliant iris in shades of copper, gold and violet. Standards are garnet brown shading to golden brown at haft. Falls are coppery brown, suffused gold. Bright orange beard, supplemented with a dash of bright peacock blue in center of falls. Not large but tremendously effective in the garden. 30". Mid-season. $15.00. |
