From AIS Bulletin #253 April 1984 Introducing BRONZE SCULPTURE-The Great Sculptor must have been reading the Judges Handbook on form when he carved this TB--wide, round, flaring petals, extensively ruffled and slightly laced with heavy substance. And all the coloration - of a real bronze sculpture, captured by the metal in various lighting effects, as you walk around it. Basically, a rich brown blend self with standards hinting more of violets and reds and the falls having more of an underglow of golds and yellows. Beards gold to orange. Sturdy 39" stalks with nice S-curve hold 3 branches and 8 buds-3 of them open at once in Stanley Park during the '83 Boston tour. Pod fertile, pollen untested. Peach Float X Butterscotch Trim. HC '83. $25.00. Gaddies' Gardens.
