From Iris City Gardens catalog 1940: BRONZE IMAGE-Selected by dozens of judges and visitors as a most worthy addition to the bright bronze toned irises for which Dr. Kirkland has become justly famous. It is tall and stately and its two tones of brilliant red and gold bronze certainly dominated the garden last year. Quite distinct from the earlier Indian-named varieties introduced by Dr. Kirkland. $15.00
