From AIS Bulletin #248 January 1983 Introducing BRONZE FAWN - TB, M, 91 em, Plicata, #2-7F. $25.00. Out of Beyond and Orange Plume breeding. Standards are a blend of rich orange with violet veining. The falls have plicata markings of lighter orange and brown on a yellow ground, with a white signal. The ruffled blend plicata is enhanced by rich orange-red beards (RHS 33A). Branching is good on 36" stalks, having six 5 x 6" midseason blooms. A standout! Gibson Iris Gardens. |
