'Bright On Top' (Paul Black, R. 2013). Seedling S112J. TB, 35" (89 cm), Early to midseason bloom. Standards white, gilt gold rim; style arms white, gold rib, gold and white streaked crest; falls dark purple, upper ¹⁄₃ veined white, tan-gold rim; beards orange; slight spicy fragrance. Seedling O11H: ('Bold Encounter' x 'Foreign Legion') X 'One Of A Kind' sibling. Introduced by Mid-America 2014.

From Mid-America Garden catalog, 2014: BRIGHT ON TOP (Black ‘14) TB Early-Midseason 35” (89cm). Bright white tops are richly edged gilt gold as are white styles. Dark red purple falls are veined white over upper 1/3 and edged gold. Bright orange beards insure you won’t overlook this jazzy iris. An abundanceof well-branched stalks have 7-10 buds. Sdlg.
