'Bright Future' (Fred DeForest, R. 7/5/55 for 1956). Seedling# 53-10. TB, 40" (102 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards white; falls medium-deep yellow. 'Cloudcap' seedling# 51-4 x 'Cloudcap' seedling# 51-14. Irisnoll 1960.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: BRIGHT FUTURE (DeF. '60) M. 40 in. (Cloudcap Sdlg. x Cloudcap Sdlg.). Very large, with broad petals, well domed stands and round, horizontal falls. An amoena, this has smooth white stands and rich yellow falls. Showy and a very fine parent. 7.50.
