'Bright Forecast' (Melba Hamblen, R. 1959). Seedling# H5-20-A. TB, 30" (76 cm). Late midseason bloom. Color Class Y1P, Golden-yellow self, tangerine-orange beard. 'Fashion Show' X sibling to 'Glittering Amber'. Hamblen 1960. High Commendation 1959; Honorable Mention 1960.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1963: BRIGHT FORECAST (Hamblen '60) M. 36 in. (Fashion Show x Sib to Glittering Amber). A blazing, golden yellow of large size and very broad petals. The stands are closed and the falls are flaring and the whole flower is heavily laced and ruffled. Heavy tangerine beard. H.M. 1960. 15.00.
