'Bold Pageant' (Chet Tompkins, R. 1952). TB, 40" (102 cm), Midseason to very late bloom. Color Class-RO1, Self, of Indian copper, orange-copper beard. ('Stardom' x 'Arab Chief') x ('Gypsy' x 'Prairie Fire'). Fleur de Lis 1952.

From Fleur De Lis Gardens catalog 1953: BOLD PAGEANT (Tompkins 1952) M. L. 44 in. (Stardom x Arab Chief) x (Gypsy x Prairie Fire). A very large flower of rich, glowing Indian copper. A different color and a very showy iris. $1.00.
