1988, Plotner

'Bold Logic' (William Plotner, R. 1989). Seedling# 83-343. TB, 36" (91 cm). Early midseason bloom. Standards oxblood red (RHS 59D); falls oxblood red (187A/B), edged greyed purple (186); dark mustard beard; ruffled; slight spicy fragrance. Seedling# 79-82: ('Bayberry Candle' x 'Copper Capers') X Tompkins seedling# 79-58L: (('San Leandro' x 'Easy Grace') x (('Bayberry Candle' x 'Hilight') x ('Bandolier' x (('Orange Parade' x 'Grand Teton') x 'Cosmopolitan')))). Wildwood Gardens 1988.
