From Iris and Peonies catalog, J.C. Nicholls, Ithaca, NY 1931 - BOADICEA. (Nich. 1931). 38 inches. $5.00. S. and F. soft apricot blend with pinkish lights; pale flush of blue at center of falls. Medium size. Slender stalks, high branched. Good substance. Between Vesper Gold and Tuscany Gold in tone. The soft color has a vivid glow not seen in the many other charming blends of this kind. Best of its class.
