From The Iris Garden catalog 1930: Blue Ribbon (Grinter), S. Roslyn blue; F. blackish violet with a lighter flush in center; length of flower 7" and 6" spread; height 40"; well branched; prolific bloomer; a brilliant clear blue. 25.00.
