'Blond Goddess' (George Shoop, R. 1973). Seedling# 70-11. TB, 36" (91 cm), Midseason bloom. Cream self; pink flush on standards and hafts; tangerine beard. From seedlings involving 'Whole Cloth', blue TBs, 'One Desire', 'Spanish Affair', 'Dream Fashion', 'Olé'. Shoop 1974.

From AIS Bulletin #213 April 1974 Introducing BLOND GODDESS (Shoop '74). Sdlg. 70-11. TB, 36", Midseason. The largest tangerine-bearded iris I know of. The broad, flaring cream falls are like a huge hibiscus. Pink-flushed standards and hafts. Standards closed. Deep green foliage. Fast increase; strong stem. (From Whole Cloth, red-bearded blues, One Desire, Spanish Affair, Dream Fashion, Ole). $25.00. Marvin Olson.
