'Beauty From Darkness' (Gary Middleton, R. 2015). Seedling# 11/GTBTS#8. TB, 40in (102 cm), Midseason to late bloom. Standards aubergine black (between RHS N186B and N92A), vibrant deep violet iridescence in sunlight; style arms deep purple; falls black (2038), white ground around beard, veined black and stippled purple; beards amethyst violet end, turning yellow, then orange in throat. 3-5 branches including terminal, 6-9 buds, height x width of flowers 4 ½ in (11,5 cm) x 6 ¼ in (15,5 cm). Ruffled and flaring. Pronounced sweet fragrance. 'Ghost Train' x ''Before the Storm'.
