2011, Sutton

'Battle Of The Bands' (Michael Sutton, R. 2010) Seedling U-308-B. TB, 34" (86 cm), Early to midseason bloom and rebloom. Standards bright yellow, white edge veined yellow; style arms yellow, pale cream edge; Falls red purple (RHS 59C) infused darker, white area around beards blending to 1/4" violet blue band on top half of petal, 1/4" yellow brown band on lower half of petal; beards yellow; ruffled; pronounced sweet fragrance. Seedling S-481: ('Connie Sue' x Ghio seedling 98-3F, 'Applause Line' pollen parent) X 'Mountain Sunrise'. Sutton 2011.  Honorable Mention 2013.
