From R. Wallace catalog, 1922: BALARUC. A.M., R.H.S., June, 1920. A seedling of Iris Mr. H. Darwin, raised by Mons. F. Denis, of Balaruc-les-Baines. Both standards and falls are white. Flowers of medium size, pale golden beard and few purplish markings at base of falls. It continues to flower late in the season, strong growing and free-flowering. Invaluable as an effective border flower. It received an Award of Merit when shown bv Mr. W.R. Dykes. C I. 7/6 each. |
