'Austrian Garnets' (William Maryott, R. 1991). Seedling L120BST. TB, 39" (99 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards reddish black (RHS 187A) with metallic sheen; falls same with lighter (77A) metallic center; self beards tipped brown; ruffled. Seedling F89B: ('Seeing Red' x 'Maroon Bells') X seedling J61BST: (seedling F89B x seedling G144A: (('Malaysia' x 'San Jose') x Ghio seedling 76-241P: (('Louise Watts' sibling x (((('Commentary' x 'Claudia Rene') x 'Claudia Rene') x 'Ponderosa') x ('Ponderosa' x 'New Moon'))) x 'Homecoming Queen'))).
