From Tell’s Gardens catalog,1962: ARCADY (H. Senior Fothergill, England) Midseason. 38". (Jane Phillips x Pegasus) gorgeous light blue with deeper flush of blue in central portion of falls. Has excellent form and substance and better than average branching. I predict a good future for this iris both for popularity and as a breeder and should like to see it crossed with Top Of The World, Soft Sky, High Above, French Flair, Marriott and Whole Cloth. In England awarded H. C. and selected for Trial at Wisley,1959. $20.00 |
