From AIS Bulletin #229, Spring 1978 Introducing AMERICAN HERITAGE (B. Williamson). Around clean white grounds, wide deeply fluted borders of concord-grape stained blue-violet create a distinctive new plicata. The modern wide form, the deep fluting, the yellow beard tipped blue, and a well branched and budded stem (reaching 34 inches) combine in designing an iris that has received fine comments and press when seen. Charmed Circle X Kiss. $25.00. Pacific Coast Hybridizers. |
