From AIS Bulletin #212 January 1974 Introducing AMBER FLASH '74. M. 40". #25-9A. $25.00. Large smooth blend of copper flushed rose, with blue-violet sheen. Semiflaring fall has pale red-violet signal patch and bright orange beard. This 40" stalk has exceptionally fine branching. The 6"X7" beautifully formed flower is ruffled and fluted. The stylearm crest is of the same color as the rest of the flower and beautifully serrated. This is a cross of DOVE IN FLIGHT and ORINDA. No. plicata. Gibson's Iris Garden.
