From Campos Altos catalog, 1924: Amador (Mesopotamica X Parisiana). Tall pink bicolor, similar to but slightly paler than Leverrier, but of stronger growth and more widely branching stems. $5.00
"A beautiful soft pink bicolor of early blooming habits. The flowers are large, of excellent substance and are borne on tall widely branching stalks. Strong grower. 50c; 3 for $1.00." [Carl Salbach Iris Catalog, Berkeley, CA, 1930]
