'Eleven Point River' ( O. David Niswonger, R. 2001) Seedling #Sp 2-98. SPU, 40" (107 cm). Midseason bloom. Standards and style arms medium blue; falls medium blue, yellow signal. 'Missouri Rainbows X I. notha . Cape Iris 2001. Honorable Mention 2006.

From AIS Bulletin #321 April 2001 Introducing ELEVEN POINT RIVER (Niswonger '01) Sdlg Sp 2-98: Missouri Rainbows X I. notha. Spuria, 40" (101.6 cm), M. This is a first generation cross with the species, I. notha. There is some hybrid vigor from this F 1 cross. The blooms are a bit smaller than the pod parent, but it increases much more. The blooms on I. notha are really blue and there were various shades of a nice blue in this cross. This one is a medium blue with a small yellow signal. t makes five buds here in Missouri. The fertility is not good but if you are persistent you might get a seed or two. A clump shows lots of blooms. $30.00. Cape Iris.
