1985, Collected 'Adriatic Shores' ( Eric and Bob Tankesley-Clarke, R. 1994). SPEC, height 18" (46 cm). Midseason bloom. Deep purple, slightly darker falls; beards ice white; pronounced sweet fragrance; purple leaf bases. Collected; distributed as Iris germanica U56 and in commerce prior to 1985. Iris germanica .
