■(SIB) 'Where Eagles Dare'

1995, Helsley

'Where Eagles Dare' ( Calvin Helsley, R. 1993). Seedling 89-3. SIB, height 41" (104 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards and style arms dark blue violet (RHS 89C); Falls dark violet blue (89B) veined darker (89A), white signal turning gold in throat and veined dark violet blue (89A), large white spot on reverse. 'Mabel Coday' X S. Varner S060: ( 'Marlya' x 'Steve'). Helsley 1995. Honorable Mention 2000; Award of Merit 2003; Morgan-Wood Medal 2005.
