'Valley Of Delight' ( Steve Varner, R. 1985). Seedling 5060. SIB (28 chrom. tet.), 30" (76 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards ruffled white, tinted pink; white styles tinted pink; Falls deep pink, narrowly edged light pink. 'Dance Ballerina Dance' X self. Illini Iris 1991.

From AIS Bulletin #281 April 1991 Introducing VALLEY OF DELIGHT-SIB (Tet) (Dance Ballerina Dance X self) 30" EM 3" blooms 2 br. 4 buds. Styles and stds. are ruffled white, tinted pink and are much shorter than ruffled pink falls, which are narrowly edged H. pink. A favorite of mine, with personality and charm. Order early! $70.00. Illini Iris.
