'Steve Varner' (Harley Briscoe, R. 1976). Seedling 70 53B. SIB, 29" (74 cm), Midseason bloom. Standards lavender; falls same, veined lavender-blue, ruffled; bright blue stylearms. 'White Swirl' X 'Barbara's Choice'. Bellagamba 1978. Honorable Mention 1980; Morgan Award 1982; Favorite Guest 1985; Morgan-Wood Medal 1987.
