1982, Hager

'Omar's Cup' (Ben Hager, R. 1982). Seedling SB91Rd. SIB, 34" (86 cm), Midseason bloom. Bright wine red, dark veining over white signal with tint of cobalt. Seedling 5B58V3: ('Dreaming Spires' x 'Ruby Wine') X seedling SB55DkWi#2: ('Ruby Wine' x 'Royal Ensign'). Melrose Gardens 1982. Favorite Guest 1983; Honorable Mention 1984; Award of Merit 1987.
