'Lucky Lilac' ( Currier McEwen, R. 1988) Seedling T2 82/123(1). SIB (28 chromosome tetraploid), 36" (90 cm), Very early bloom and rebloom. Standards lavender pink (RHS 81D); Falls lavender pink (81C), white signal. Seedling T1 76/38B: ('Lavender Light' x 'Augury') X seedling T1 76/38K, sibling. Pope's Perennials, Seaways Gardens 1988. Honorable Mention 1990.

From AIS Bulletin #268 January 1988 Introducing LUCKY LILAC: Tetraploid, very early to very late repeater. Falls lavender pink (RHS-81C) with lighter standards. Related to Lavender Bounty and has its outstanding qualities in tetraploid form. $30.00. Seaways Gardens.
