'Golden Edge' (Currier McEwen, R. 1991). Seedling T(7)83/107(3). SIB (tet.), 30" (75 cm), Early midseason bloom. Standards medium violet blue (RHS 89C); style arms violet blue (blended 86B and 89A); Falls darker velvety violet blue, yellow (9C) wire edge, rich yellow (9B) signal shading lighter (9D) at edge; ruffled. Seedling T(2)80/260(2): (('Ruffled Velvet' x 'Tealwood') x unknown) X seedling T(6)78/47(W-1): ('Dear Dianne' x 'Happy Event' sibling). Pope's Perennials, Seaways 1992. Honorable Mention 1997.

Signals and edges are rich yellow (RHS-9C) with the latter completely surrounding velvety rich blue (RHS-89B) gracefully arched and ruffled falls. $35.00. Seaways Gardens/Pope's Perennials.
