'Dark Desire' (Steve Varner, R. 1974). Seedling V222. SIB, 36" (91 cm), Very early to midseason bloom. Deep blue-purple self; no signal. 'White Swirl' X 'Tealwood'. Illini Iris 1974. Honorable Mention 1975.
